One of my earliest pieces of paintings completed in 2020. It marked a small but big step for me at the time to allow my subject to interact with the background. Lending movement and immediacy to the piece, it has evoked tendencies of meditative qualities as well as yearning for some. It was a bittersweet joy to see the original go to its new forever home in Germany.
